A daily rhythm designed to support your child’s physical, social, emotional, and imaginative development

Inside the Nursery Cottage: warm wooden walls, simple natural toys, and soft light through round windows.

Nursery Cottage

A warm, nature-rooted nursery for children ages 18 months to 4 years. Offering families the consistency of a full-day program rooted in connection, rhythm, and attentive presence.

Open year-round
Monday—Friday

Our daily rhythm is inspired by Waldorf early childhood education and the understanding that young children thrive through rhythm, repetition, imitation, movement, meaningful work, and imaginative play. Rather than rushing children toward academics, we nurture the whole child—supporting their physical, social, emotional, and imaginative development through the rich experiences of everyday life, within an intimate, home-like environment.

Nestled in an idyllic cottage setting surrounded by flora and fauna, our Nursery Cottage enrollment offers children abundant opportunities to explore the natural world. Days unfold with plenty of time outdoors—wandering, discovering, digging, gathering, observing the seasons, and experiencing the wonder that is so naturally alive in young children.

Inside, the nursery is warm, loving, joyful, and calm. Natural materials, simple toys, beautiful surroundings, and the gentle rhythms of daily life create an environment where imagination can flourish. It is intentionally peaceful—a balm for an often overwhelming world and a place where children are given the time and space to simply be children.

Flexible support, designed to nurture not only the child, but the entire family.

Wildflower Care

Month-long Commitment

Wildflower Care offers part-time, in-home childcare rooted in the beauty and simplicity of Waldorf early childhood education. Like wildflowers thriving in a meadow, children flourish when surrounded by warmth, rhythm, meaningful work, and time in nature. Through storytelling, baking, gardening, creative play, seasonal celebrations, music, and artistic activities, I create a nurturing environment that supports healthy development while honoring the wonder of childhood. Alongside caring for your child, I partner closely with families, offering observations, guidance, and collaboration to ensure that home life and caregiving work together in harmony.

“Being our daughter’s first school experience, I often wanted to talk to Caitlin about how things were going… Our conversations always left me feeling like our daughter was in great hands. I loved talking to Caitlin because I felt like she was one of the very few people whose insight into my own child I really wanted to hear. I felt like she knew our daughter. Like deep down, she saw her.”
